Part I | Destination Maternity Session

Today I will be sharing some highlights from my own personal styled destination maternity portrait session with the talented Mindy from Mindy Larson Photography. She travelled all the way from Houston to Monahans, Texas to help me capture these before my little one makes her arrival in a few weeks. We decided to go to the Monahans Sandhills for this session, because it is a place that my family and I have frequented this past year and enjoy. Not to mention, the landscape is breathtaking!

With a little help from Mindy, I carefully chose our outfits from my studio wardrobe. I also decided to treat myself to a hairstyle with Stephanie at Feathered Small Boutique, followed by professional makeup application with Bailey V. And for that little something extra, I coordinated a custom floral crown from Desert Blooms Floral Design. I am so glad that Mindy was able to work with me on this session. That is why I take pride in helping decide on all of these, offering styling advice, in addition to maintaining a carefully curated studio wardrobe for mommies and babies to use for their portrait session.
